Grandmas Banana Bread

  • 1 bowl
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 Loaf Pan
  • 1 Measuring Cups
  • 1 Tablespoons and Teaspoons

Ingredients
  

  • 3 Ripe Bananas
  • 2 Eggs well beaten
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 cup Coursely chopped walnuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Grease loaf pan
  • Mix the bananas and eggs in a large bowl.
  • Sift in flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
  • Mix all the ingredients until the batter is well combined.
  • This part is optional if you want to mix in walnuts or chocolate chips you can but it's up to you.
  • Bake at 360° for an hour and 15 minutes.
  • Check for doneness with a tooth pick when it comes out clean.
  • Allow time to cool a little but you can eat it warm with a slab of butter.

Notes

This banana bread is a great recipe to have when you have leftover mushy bananas and need to get rid of them quickly. If you want to make it friendly add the chocolate chips. Enjoy this with a great cup of coffee for breakfast!
