Most Indulgent Apple Crumble

This delicious apple crumble is perfect for any fall day. It's a comfort food to make on the days when the nights are getting shorter and the leaves are falling. Whether you come back from picking apples or just buy some from the store it's wonderful warm with a cold scoop of icecream.

- 8 Apples ( Gala/ Honeycrisp)
- 10 tbsp Non-Salted Butter
- 1 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1½ tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice Mix
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 2 tbsp Corn Starch
Filling
1. Cut up apples put 2 tbsp butter in a pan and warm up the pan. 2. When the butter is melted put freshly cut apples in the pan. Add 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp lemon juice and 1/2 tsp of pumpkin pie spice mix. 3. Warm up all of the ingredients and warm up for 5/10 mins. Don't cook too long or you will get apple sauce. Cook till tender.
Assembly
1. Put all the apple filling in the bottom of the pan. 2. With your hand spread the crumble over the top of the apple filling. Make sure that the cruble is even across the top of the filling. 3. When the oven is pre-heated place the pan in the oven and put timer for 35 minutes. 4. After you cook for 35 minutes pull out and let it cool off for 15 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
